Billy Porter, Zachary Quinto, and EJ Johnson have been added to the cast of the upcoming Disney+ animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
Porter and Quinto will voice Randall and Barry Leibowitz-Jenkins, respectively, the mixed-race adoptive parents of 14-year-old activist Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, voiced by Keke Palmer. Johnson will voice Michael Collins, Penny’s best guy friend who’s described as a non-conforming trendsetter. They join previously announced stars Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker and JoMarie Payton. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is currently in production with an expected release in 2022 on Disney+.
