Is an 'Insecure' spin-off in the works? Kendrick Sampson weighs in

Merie W. Wallace/HBOHBO’s Insecure is gearing up for its fifth and final season, but star Kendrick Sampson believes there is a way for the series to continue on. 

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the 2021 Grammys Awards, the 33-year-old actor shared what he knows about a potential spin-off or movie. 

“I wish I had a hand in creating it,” he said before adding, “As far as I know, this is the end. But I also know that people bring up movies — I think Breaking Bad came back with a Breaking Bad movie after the last season and stuff like that, Sex and the City. So I think there’s a possibility.”
