NetflixNetflix has tapped some heavy hitters for their upcoming, as yet untitled drama starring Sandra Bullock.
The streamer has added Oscar-winner Viola Davis, Mudbound star Rob Morgan, and Legends actress Aisling Franciosi to the cast of the new film, which will follow life after incarceration.
Produced by Bullock, the film is an adaptation the three-part British miniseries Unforgiven. It will follow Bullock as Ruth Slater, a woman who re-enters society after serving a sentence for a violent crime. Now facing severe judgment from the community she once lived, her only hope is to find her “estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.”
