Meek Mill continues fight for social justice with new PSA about fatal shooting of Pittsburgh teen

Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for BETMeek Mill is continuing his ongoing fight for social justice with a new PSA about the life of a teenager who was fatally shot by a police officer in Pittsburgh in 2018.

17-year old Antwon Rose Jr., a basketball star and honor roll student, was shot in the back by a police officer during a traffic stop in East Pittsburgh on June 19, 2018.

Officer Michael Rosfeld was charged with criminal homicide, but was acquitted in March.

Wednesday, Mill released a video on Instagram about Rose’s life narrated by Rose’s mother, Michelle Kenney. The PSA, co-produced by Roc Nation’s Responsibility Program, includes news reports about the shooting.
