Prior to changing their name to Destiny’s Child, the group was called Girls Tyme. Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, released the previously unheard Girls Tyme music on Monday, along with a book telling Destiny Child’s history.
“The day is here! Destiny’s Child: The Untold Story book and album are available everywhere now!,” Knowles commented on Instagram. He also posted Girls Tyme singing a cover of Michael Jackson’s “I Wanna Be Where You,” which Jackson released in 1972 when he was 13 years old.
