IStock/fhogueLegendary DJ Eric B. of Eric B. & Rakim will not serve additional jail time after being arrested in October on a 17-year-old warrant.
Eric, born Eric Barrier, was sentenced to one year probation on Friday, according to Rolling Stone.
Barrier was back in court after being released on November 12 following two weeks in jail. He was arrested on October 28 on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court for sentencing back in 2002, in connection with an assault conviction. Barrier had pleaded guilty on January 28, 2002 to aggravated assault and resisting arrest in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
