Thaddaeus McAdams/WireImageKodak Black was sentenced to federal prison Wednesday in Florida.
The rapper is scheduled to serve three years and eight months for falsifying information on federal forms to buy four firearms from a Miami-area gun shop on two separate occasions, according to the Sun-Sentinel newspaper. He pleaded guilty to the charges in August.
Before his sentence, Black said, “I’m sorry for the actions that led me to where I’m standing. I do take full responsibility for my mishap.”
“Young people do stupid things,” U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno told Black, 23. “But the problem is that you’ve been doing stupid things since you were 15.”
