IStock/fhogueLegendary rapper Eric B. of Eric B. & Rakim is now free after being arrested two weeks ago on a 17-year-old warrant.
Eric, born Eric Barrier, was released from a New Jersey county jail Tuesday, according to NJ.com.
He was arrested on October 28 for failing to appear in court for sentencing back in 2002, in connection with an an assault conviction. Barrier had pleaded guilty on January 28, 2002 to aggravated assault and resisting arrest in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
Barrier was arrested October 28 on a bench warrant that was issued March 8, 2002 for failure to appear for his court sentencing.
