After it was announced that Hill would release a new song for the upcoming Queen & Slim soundtrack, Waithe took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the official news.
“Honored,” she wrote, captioning a write-up of the announcement, which read, “@MsLaurynHill is set to make an appearance on the upcoming #QueenAndSlim soundtrack, making it her first solo appearance in five years.”
As previously noted, the 17-track soundtrack will feature songs from Ms. Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee
