RCA RecordsTwo Cali artists have collaborated:  H.E.R. and YG teamed up to release a new single on Friday: “Slide”

The singer from Vallejo, California first performed the track at her inaugural Lights On Festival on September 14 in Concord, California.

In the love song, H.E.R. sings, “I don’t care if we on the run/ Nothin’ matters when we one on one/ Lookin’ at us ’cause we goin’ dumb/Baby when we gonna, slide, hey, hey up all night, baby, when we gonna slide?”

In August, the “Focus” singer received the Young Gifted and Black Award at BET’s Black Girls Rock event.
