Sunday night, the seasoned producer and rap vet confirmed the effort’s release during a surprise appearance in Batesville, Indiana while attending an intimate Victory Boyd concert. At one point during the singer’s set, Ye took to the stage to announce that his forthcoming album, Jesus Is King, will arrive next Friday.
As previously reported, wife Kim Kardashian West teased a snapshot of what appeared to be the LP’s track listing and release date — September 27 — two weeks ago via Twitter. Ye doubled down on the legitimacy of the cryptic tweet
