Daniels is the executive producer of the show, which is about a convicted felon-turned-suburban mom. Debbie Allen is directing the pilot for Hulu, according to Deadline.
The show stars comedian Patricia Williams, AKA Ms. Pat; Roman will play Denise, Pat’s sister.
“Two words…MY GOD! I am so excited to be apart of @comediennemspat #TheMsPatShow A new beginning to create new memories with @hulu Thank you,” the Saints & Sinners star commented on Instagram.
Roman, who first broke out on Basketball Wives, will also be featured with Octavia Spencer in the upcoming Apple series, Truth Be Told.
