JAY-Z denies he's trying to convince Travis Scott to drop out of Maroon 5 Super Bowl halftime show

ABC/Randy HolmesWhile neither the NFL, Maroon 5 nor Travis Scott have confirmed rumors that the group and the rapper will share the stage during halftime at the Super Bowl in Atlanta this February, JAY-Z is now responding to a report that he’s inserted himself into the story.

As previously reported, Variety claimed that Jay has been trying to talk Travis out of participating in the halftime show — ostensibly because Jay has been critical of the NFL’s treatment of Colin Kaepernick.
