Juelz Santana reportedly sentenced to 27 months in prison following airport gun case

Juelz Santana‘s facing over two years in prison, following gun charges stemming from an incident in March. 

The 36-year-old Dipset frontman, born LaRon Louis James, pleaded guilty Wednesday morning in Newark, NJ, to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft, TMZ reports.  Juelz also admitted to “possession of a controlled dangerous substance.” He was subsequently sentenced to 27 months in prison.

Following his prison stint, however long it may be, the rapper will allegedly remain “under supervised release” for one year.
