Atlantic Records/Maybach MusicMeek Mill is ending the year, undeniably, as a winner with his new album, Championships, topping the charts.
The 19-track effort debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 229,000 equivalent album units within the first week of it’s official release, Billboard reports. The lofty figure includes 42,000 units as traditional album sales.
Following 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money, Championships is the Philly rapper’s second chart-topper.
Championships is Meek’s first full-length project since his release from prison in April. It includes a Rolodex of hitmaking collaborators including Cardi B, Future, Drake, Ella Mai, 21 Savage, Rick Ross and JAY Z.
