Post Malone and Swae Lee's “Sunflower” sets new record on 'Billboard''s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart

Republic RecordsPost Malone and Swae Lee‘s hit collaboration, “Sunflower,” has set a new record on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for the most weeks spent within the top 10 of the tally.

Lifted from the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, the single has planted itself in the top 10 for an unprecedented 45 weeks. The previous record was held by The Weeknd‘s “The Hills,” which spent 44 weeks in the top 10.

Debuting on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in November 2018, the romantic track also spent 11 of its 46 weeks at number one and has been certified platinum three times over.

“Sunflower” marks Post Malone’s third number one single on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and Swae’s first as a solo artist.

This new record means Post now holds the title for most weeks in the top 10 on the singles chart and on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.  Last year, his 2016 debut album Stoney notched a record 77 weeks in the top 10 on that chart.

Posty is set to kick off his Runaway Tour this weekend, alongside Swae, in Tacoma, Washington.
